Ten UNIVERSO L 43 large flat interlocking tiles are all that is required to cover a whole square metre of roof surface. This results in a very cost-effective square metre price for the client and a high level of productivity for the installer. With the UNIVERSO L 43, this high degree of economy is combined with the elegance of a flat interlocking tile that stands out in today's roofscapes.

  1. Adequate play along the top and side interlock simplifies installation (longitudinal area of movement of approx. 2.3 cm).

Inexpensive — Environmentally Friendly — Safe!

Safety first. Before a new automobile can have enthusiatic fans, the engineers first test the model thoroughly on selected stretches of road and in the wind tunnel. Without ideal test results, that automobile will never be allowed to drive into your garage. It is no different for the various JUNGMEIER clay roof tile models. They also undergo testing in the wind tunnel for rain tightness for various roof inclines and under various wind intensities.

The newest JUNGMEIER model to successfully pass its rain tightness test at the Fluidic Institute in Nuremberg was the UNIVERSO L 43 large flat interlocking roof tile. The UNIVERSO L 43 has proved itself with roof pitches of 30°, 20°, 15° and 10° and with wind celocities of up to 20m/second.

Accordingly to Dr G Kretzschmar, Director of the series of experiment., "the precise production and instalation of the roof tile is of major importance for the results of the rain tightness test."
